Current offering: Biblical Hospitality
Register now for this 16 week study on biblical hospitality which breaks open Scripture using the Benedictine pillar of “Hospitality”. This hospitality has little to do with our cultural definitions that equate hospitality with entertaining. The biblical perspective is grounded in understanding God as initiator- as host- the one who forever calls, welcomes, challenges and abides with us. In response to God’s initiative we look to Chapter 53 of Saint Benedict’s Rule: “All guest who present themselves are to be welcomed as Christ, for he himself will say: I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Biblical Hospitality is not optional; but a radical imperative. Includes weekly lecture via notes or video clips, assignments, prayers and weekly blog discussions. Now join us no matter where you are in the world.
